Puzzle Tavern

Puzzle Tavern is a game prototype I designed and developed entirely by myself for Grads In Games Search for a Star competition. The brief was 'Two becomes one' where the goal was to combine two uncommonly connected genres/concepts/mechanics and design a game around them.

I chose Roguelite and Puzzle.

My goal of this project was to combine the fast paced and quick thinking of a rogue-lite with the more methodical and problem-solving gameplay of a puzzle game.

Key Development Areas:

- Unreal Engine 5 blueprinting to create all gameplay systems

- Design, Development and iteration

- Project management and time keeping

- Redesigning and iterating on feedback and criticism

- Professional Game design document + Puzzle design
